Sam Adams Bonfire Rauchbier

After having 4 labels approved, Samuel Adams has finally chosen the name and label of their Rauchbier set to be released in bottles.  They have gone with Bonfire Rauchbier which is an appropriate name for a smoke beer.  This is a follow up to a previous article written on Friday April 29th a few posts down.

Samuel Adams Rauchbier is available only at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts and had gotten there by winning the home brew contest.  The brewery has decided to release this beer to the masses and there are 4 different approved labels all with different names for the brew.  The names are "Rauchbier", "Seven Hills Rauchbier", "Bonfire Rauchbier" and "Roasted Rauchbier".  A Rauchbier is a "Smoke Beer" which roasts its malts over burning beechwood logs.  There is no word yet on which label or name will be chosen for release.

New Samuel Adams Boston Lager Label Coming Soon

As you should come to expect from the Boston Beer Company keeping things FRESH is part of the business.  The beer labels are no exception.  This is the newest Boston Lager label to hit the market sometime this spring.  The original brewer patriot is still on the label but a brown background makes this label look very sharpe.  You can tell by the freshness dates on the side that this label should be out pretty soon.  Heres a classic reminder of the old logo.  Cheers!
